The results are in and we are thrilled to once again be included on Fortune’s annual list of the World’s Most Admired Companies, ranking fifth among the top five apparel companies globally.

The list was compiled by Fortune and Korn Ferry based on a corporate reputation survey. Candidates considered for the list were based on revenue and down from 1,500 companies to 680 in 30 countries this year. The top-rated companies were picked from this pool and then executives from these companies were surveyed. Of the apparel companies ranked, LS&Co. moved into the “Top 5” this year, joining Nike, VF, Kering and Adidas.

As Fortune stated, the scoring system “favors companies whose peers recognize that they do many different things well.” We’ve achieved a lot over the past yearfrom our historic public offering on the New York Stoke Exchange to the climate and water strategies we introduced, to creating some of our most exciting products in decades—all while continuing to drive our business forward and set Levi Strauss & Co. up for the next 160 years

Being one of the world’s most admired companies is an incredible honor, and it inspires us to continue to work hard to remain among the best in the business.
